New Heights Charter School of Brockton is proud to announce an evolving partnership with Shaw’s and Star Market dedicated to strengthening our community-centered initiative.

Recently, Dr. Nicole Jones and Rev. Mike Gilbert were honored to attend the Shaw’s & Star Market Annual Northeast Leadership Conference. During the event, Rev. Gilbert shared the impactful community work being led by Dr. Jones and the New Heights team to support our scholars and their families.

We are deeply moved to have received a $20,000 donation during the conference. This generous contribution will directly support our ongoing initiatives to address food insecurity, ensuring our students have the nutritional foundation they need to succeed.

This partnership is years in the making. Last year, a delegation from the Shaw’s and Star Foundation visited New Heights to witness our mission firsthand and discuss how to deepen our collective impact. This latest gift is a powerful testament to how corporate leaders can empower community-based organizations to build a healthier, more resilient future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Susan Morris, CEO of Albertsons Companies, Ken Rinaldi, President of Shaw’s and Star Market, and to the entire Albertsons Companies and Shaw’s and Star Market family.

Your commitment to New Heights Charter School transforms lives. We look forward to continuing this vital work together to serve our families and our community as a whole.
