As an Early College school, New Heights introduces students to the transformative power of higher education from the very start of their journey. Whether through immersive campus visits or rigorous college coursework, we ensure our scholars don’t just dream of the future—they live it.
This week, that mission takes a bold step forward. A cohort of 15 ambitious rising seniors, accompanied by dedicated faculty and staff, are embarking on an inspiring tour of eight historic institutions across Florida and Alabama. This journey is more than a field trip; it is a bridge to the next chapter of their lives, allowing them to explore academic possibilities and vibrant cultures far beyond Massachusetts.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our hosts Florida State University, Bethune–Cookman University, Florida A&M University, and the University of Central Florida, Alabama State University, Auburn University at Montgomery, the University of Alabama, and Stillman College or welcoming our scholars with open arm.
These visits provide more than just a look at lecture halls—they provide a vision of what is possible. By walking these historic grounds, our students are gaining the insights and confidence needed to make informed, empowered decisions about their futures. Of course, the journey also includes moments of joy and team-building, with a well-deserved stop at Universal Studios Florida to celebrate their hard work.
Our scholars are alert, their minds are open, and they are ready to conquer. We are immensely proud of their curiosity and drive. We also want to thank our incredible staff, whose unwavering dedication and commitment ensure that every student is college-ready.
At New Heights, we aren’t just widening the door to academic success—we are watching our students walk through it.
