New Heights Charter School of Brockton (NHCSB) is excited to announce a partnership with the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston). This partnership is designed to give New Heights graduates a faster, more affordable path to complete their college degree at UMass Boston by significantly reducing both the time and cost normally required to earn a 4-year university degree.

This partnership highlights:

  • Guaranteed Acceptance: New Heights students who successfully complete 30 or more college-level credits with a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and a 3.0 college-level GPA are granted automatic acceptance to UMass Boston.
  • Significant Credit Transfer: Students are eligible to transfer up to 60 college-level credits earned while enrolled at New Heights
  • Annual Scholarships: NHCSB graduates are eligible for scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 annually, based on their academic performance and college credits earned.

NHCSB also partners with other higher educational institutions such as Massasoit Community College, Bridgewater State University,  Bentley University, Regis College, Nichols College, and Anna Maria College.

These partnerships directly align with the New Heights mission: “Preparing our students for college. Period.” It is a powerful testament to our commitment to transforming urban education by creating sustainable, high-impact collaborations that make a college education accessible to every single one of our scholars.
