In a stunning departure from traditional test-day anxiousness, the New Heights community transformed the day before the MCAS ELA test into a vibrant, high-energy celebration of our middle schoolers’ hard work.

The school gymnasium was filled with an electric atmosphere as teachers, staff, and high school students congregated to roar their support for our test-takers. This wasn’t just a pep rally; it was a powerful reminder that we believe in them.

High school scholars shared their own experiences, reminding the younger students that the MCAS is simply a stepping stone—a way to sharpen the skills they’ll need for their bright academic futures.

Every speech and cheer centered on a single truth: our students have the knowledge, the grit, and the talent to succeed.

The school cheerleaders delivered an incredible performance, filling the room with laughter and the kind of positive energy that turns anxiety into excitement.

We commend the NHCSB Academic Team for this impactful initiative. By prioritizing our scholars’ confidence and emotional well-being, we are setting them up to shine not just on a test, but in life.

At New Heights, every scholar knows from their very first day that they are on a path to college. We don’t just hope they are ready; we know they are college-ready. Our mission remains unchanged and more focused than ever: Prepare our students for college. Period.

To our middle schoolers, you’ve done the work, you have the heart, and your entire New Heights family is standing behind you.

You Got This!
